What I Wore – NYC

As promised I’m back with another New York post… This is dedicated to lots of ‘What I Wores’ in one post.

It was really cold in New York so there were lots of layers, and thermals- sexy!

I lived in my black Amelie’s from River Island- they have slight rips in them which aren’t very noticeable unless you’re sitting down. They’re a super fit and I have yet to find better at a cheaper price.. I have them in every colour! Black was just easy to wear while I was away.

I wore the dark blue ones too when we were in Central Park , If you aren’t into rips go for these ones. With the jeans I wore my Warehouse coat, one of the models wore this in my fashion show at my last fashion factory and I just had to have it. I love it. I wore my white oversized shirt under a grey jumper- everyone needs a shirt like this. You’ll get endless wear out of it.

I also wore my white collar under a jumper and coat another day. I love these collars, they’re so handy to put on with any jumper. They look fab I think and they’re so affordable.

I wore either trainers or ankle boots durning the day. They were the comfiest options and went with most outfits.

My outfits at night time were a little same same in that I wore black every night and faux leather trousers. I did bring a dress option but there was no hope of me wearing it – one night it was nearly -20 with the winds.

If you’re packing to go there soon trust me bring limited footwear and coats. They take up so much room and you’ll end up wearing the same ones.

I brought lots of jewellery too – shocker, too much! I was really happy I brought my statement necklaces though, especially with wearing so much black , they just lift every outfit.

My favourite outfit was definitely my black blazer and leather look leggings. The blazer is from MissGuided and I think it looks incredible for the price. Niamh who works with me here at pippa.ie had it and I thought it looked fab so I copied her and bought it too 😉

Last week Lidl kindly sent me the lace all in one- it’s from their Valentine’s range. I decided to put it under the blazer and I thought that worked well. I think it would look great under lots of things.

I also wore my Missguided grey coat and furry jumper – I adore this coat. I can’t believe it’s only €80. I did buy a size 10 though and returned it for an 8 as it was quite a big fitting. The jumper is cosy- I love the colours.
