My Ultimate Spring Summer Staples from SELECTED FEMME

I’m delighted to be teaming up with SELECTED to share some of my favourite styles from their new spring/summer collection with you. If you follow me on Snapchat, you would have seen me visiting the Dundrum store and giving a sneak peek of the fab collection. And today I’ve put together a post on pippa.ie covering my top picks, all available in stores now.

SELECTED is a brand, which originates from Denmark – is anyone else obsessed with that Scandinavian chic and minimal style at the moment? This is what I love about the brand, in that everything is simple and sophisticated yet trend focused while still having that luxurious feel.

You may already know SELECTED caters for both women (SELECTED Femme) and men (SELECTED Homme). There are four stores in Ireland: Dundrum Town Centre, Swords Pavilions, Mahon Point Cork and Main Street Wexford. There’s definitely something for everyone here, trust me.

It was honestly quite hard to narrow down my favourites in store but these are all pieces I know I’ll be getting plenty of wear out of in the coming months. SELECTED Femme has a fab range of clothes that will see you from work, to nights out and casual days.

It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for bomber jackets. This pink lace one is just gorgeous, wouldn’t you agree? It’s super lightweight so is ideal for summer evenings. I’d wear this over a white cami, white skinny jeans and sandals for the perfect spring/summer chic look.

It’s quite clear that there is serious attention to detail throughout the collection, every piece has some kind of unique edge. Take for instance, this navy bomber jacket. This caught my eye straight away. The frill detail on the shoulder is so cute and very on trend at the moment. Pair it with your fave denims and runners/heels and you’re good to go. This bomber jacket is exclusively available at SELECTED in Dundrum Town Centre.

I think you can never go wrong with a biker jacket. It’s a spring staple in every girl’s wardrobe. This suede navy jacket has my name written all over it. It’s effortlessly chic and will go with everything!

There are some gorgeous tops, which I think would be fab for work. Again, they all have a little stylish twist to them – whether it’s an asymmetric hemline, ruffles or not-so-typical collar details. I’d even wear them out for drinks or dinner as they have that elegant feel and could be glammed up easily.

I really like this denim shirt and shorts co-ord. Wear them together with oversized sunglasses and nude heels or sandals for a preppy chic look or you could wear them separately – the styling opportunities are endless with this.

And how could I not include these espadrilles in my favourites? I’ll be living in these this spring/summer. How fab is the grey colour?

As I’ve mention above, SELECTED also does menswear (SELECTED Homme). This collection is also very high quality and stylish. There is casual day-to-day wear as well as more formal pieces. Whatever your man’s taste, I’m pretty sure he’ll find something he loves here.
