Balayage is a hair trend that everyone is going ga-ga for lately. Adored by celebrities and more all over the world, we’re kinda starting to get obsessed too!

So what is balayage, you ask?

It’s a French technique from the ’70s, and literally means to “sweep” colour onto hair. It’s soft and has a natural sunkissed finish, where highlights of varying degrees of lightness and length are painted onto the hair.

And the best thing? It only requires minimal maintenance. It grows out more naturally so you don’t get an obvious regrowth line and and can wear it for longer between appointments. It suits all hair colours, types and lengths (except for a very short cut).
